Why don't you ask Huckabee these questions for real?
You know you're off-base. WAY off-base.
That's why.
Huckabee is the hope of the future.

Well im pretty sure if you implement the fair tax and cut other wasteful government in this country, Americans will be richer, the economy will be stronger and people can afford health care for themselves...

@NoMoreBlatherDotCom I live in Arkansas. Please list some credible sources so I can spread this like wildfire to my brothers.

haha try anything to paint him in a bad light, huh? Liberals are really getting scared now.

In southern Delaware you will find many major poultry processing plants. They actually hire buses to bring them to and from work. Charters daily. I'm talking about big greyhound type buses.

Roxas, even when people "know for certain what the truth is and bet their lives on the fact they're right," they are often wrong. There have been dozens of behavioral studies which confirms this.
For example, thousands of people used to bet their lives on the supernatural powers of a faith healer called Peter Popoff...until his scam was exposed. Or take cults like Waco Texas, where people were convinced their cult leader was Jesus. People believe what they want to believe...
-
Fair Tax discussion isn't even germane to this topic.
-
Not when those people know for certain what the truth is and bet their lives on the fact that they're right, as the Apostles did when testifying that Jesus rose from the dead.

REad the book you idiot. Read anything by that farce Fairtax. Like page 148 "The federal government ITSELF will become a MAJOR taxpayer." Over and over again the book says the federal government will pay the taxes. Why? Cause thats the only way ON PAPER it can collect NEAR enough money. So yes, the fairtax DOES - repeat DOES -- pretend the "federal government itself will become a major taxpayer" Read the book, you are being fooled.
-
If you realize ONE thing -- that the government CAN NOT pay itself -- you will understand the whole "plan" is a crock. WHy? Because without that farce of the government paying its self, the fairtax has to be over 50%. And no one is dumb enough to think new houses will still sell if there is an absurd 50% tax on new houses new cars, not to mention a 50% or more tax on rent, health insurance, utilties. They MUST convince you idiots they can make the government pay itself.
Gee, I had this idea that Mexico was an political and trading ally of the United States.
Obviously not!

Regarding Mexico being a "political and trading ally of the United States", they certainly are a major trading partner. And, they certainly have some assets - like oil - that certain people in the U.S. might want to get their hands on in some way.
However, they also have this habit of meddling in our internal politics. For an introduction to that, see this:

Allowing foreign nations to establish offices to further dialogue isn't unusual or illegal-we host the UN! Huckabee's purpose was to further Arkansas exports to Mexico!
Let's quit looking for necks upon which to hang the collective blame and move on to fix the problem.

friendofhuckabee: whatever Huck's "purpose" supposedly was, his efforts helped increase the numbers of illegal aliens in his state. The Mexican consulate he helped establish recently announced they have to hire more people to deal with the workload. A large part of that workload consists of giving ID cards to illegal aliens from that country.
