Elecraft K1 review by G0VQW.wmv

Review of Elecraft K1 Nr 1540.The antenna was a Butternut HF9V and all qso's were on 30 meters.I find this a super little rig and have gained many hours of pleasure from firstly building it.(It took about 1 week to build)and then using it.I have since built it's big brother the K2 but continue to use the K1 from time to time.Excellent rig.Welldone Elecraft.

K1 or Hendirks PFR3: what do you suggest? Purchasing K1 you get what you pay or is it overpriced? Thanks.

@franziski71 I have no experience of the Hendirks PFR3 but have seen videos by NG9D and it looked a lovely qrp radio.However,I am very pleased with my K1 and would recommend it to any CW enthusiast..

I think you would enjoy building and using the K1.Follow the instructions to the letter.Take your time and you will have a lovely qrp radio.Quite possibly the best!I wish I showed in my demo the different filter bandwidth settings instead of just mentioning them.

nice demo, i wish elecraft would do this and be able to ask questions, i'm an old guy and this rig is blowing my mind. everytime i use it i have to have the manual at my side. the K1 has an excellent receiver.
