Making clouds rain has been the subject of intensive research in several countries since the mid-40s. This study is the story of rainmaking in Australia - from the first tentative experiments with dry ice to the present, large-scale operations using silver iodide as the seeding agent. The film gives an account of the basic theory of cloud-seeding and outlines the techniques used in its practical application.

Cloud seeding typically spreads about 3.5 ounces of silver iodide over 100miles of sky, that then disperses far and wide.
Do the math.

So what does artificial ice nuclei (silver iodide) do to the lungs and bodies of small children? Is this why we have so many more people on inhalers these days? Pharmaceuticals must be loving this! It must have an impact on ground water, plants, and air. How about pregnant women and the fetus they carry? This must be why the media never covers the health effects of cloud seeding.
