Spotlight turned on US youth vote - 19 Oct 08

The outcome of November's vote could shape the US's future for decades to come -something that has not been lost on the nation's youth.

At least 40 million young people are eligible to vote, but historically they have voted in low numbers.

Now, as Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports, the youth vote could be the deciding factor in this year's presidential race.

They gave those "millions" to Wall Street banks and insurance companies so this economy as a whole would not collapse. If they did not do so (and I am not a fan of it really) this economy would have been destroyed from the top to the bottom. Directly it is a bailout of wallstreet but indirectly it is a bailout to help the country as a whole. Again I am not a fan of it but apparantly there was no time to think of an alternative.
