Live recording of CLIFFORD ANTONE
& PINETOP PERKINS
with Debra Peters & The Love Saints
@ The BROKEN SPOKE in Austin,Texas 12-27-05
CLIFF left us (5/23/06) We really miss him here in Austin. He was the AMBASSADOR of BLUES music.
The original intention of the band making this recording, was so I could go back and STUDY what needs to be improved on in my own PERSONAL performance. Thus, cameraman Billy Laatsch did point that camera on ME a bit more than I would have liked to see... (considering who was sitting in with us)... I'm very happy to be able to share this video footage with you today.
GOD BLESS CLIFFORD ANTONE 1949-2006
With Love,
Debra Peters

I think the one dislike was from someone who was bummed out by our loss.

Thanx Debra!I first came 2 Austin n the early 80's be4 th world really knew who Stevie was. I moved here cause the music scene was so cool, & of course Austin is a cool place 2 live. Clifford was so instrumental n making th blues scene happen here, as well as Stevie, Jimmie's & others' careers maintain momentum.

. I was so devastated (like many others) when Stevie died. I just walked around 4 months not being able to believe it.& years later when Clifford died...truly a dark day 4 all of Austin. What a great contribution he made, & his life,..it was a powerful statement. Another Blues Stringer
