My first animation - Features a Cowboy, a Horse, and wheelchair.

--- This is provided for Blind People ---

In this about 57 second short, our hero the cowboy lives life more or less thinking nothing bad will ever happen to him.

He has lost his horse in this scene and goes climbing some hills, takes a short walk before seeing his horse off to the left of the screen.

The horse decides to run and jump over our cowboy hero, and just as the horse is about to clear the cowboy, one of the horse's rear hooves just barely hit our cowboy on the low back.

The horse then lands to the right and behind our now injured cowboy, and runs away off the screen to the right.

The cowboy attempts to stand up, and now finds he can hardly walk with out real severe pain.

Now he is still able to stand, and have some use of his legs - Not all injuries involving the back leave someone un-able to use their legs.

Sometimes like in my case, we are left where using them leaves in in much more pain, where it can be three weeks or more before the spasms slowly calm back down, and the worst of the pain passes.

Try as the cowboy might, working through this pain makes it worse. No matter how much he (I) want to walk again.

He will try to walk everyday for the very short time he has before the pain let's him know time is up.

He will use crutches to help him walk the short time he can, and even at that it's not walking in the true sense of the meaning.

The title of the movie It Can't Happen To Me - As the animation plays out just when the cowboy realizes he is hurt, can not walk even a single step with out HELP.

So he calls out for help. This is where a rather strange contraption rolls up to him, he assumes it is going to now hurt him even more.

He has never seen or thought of one of these, so this new contraption looks odd, and nothing like the help he requested.

He imagined that HELP would mean walking normally again. Well, sadly he is wrong.

As this contraption nears the cowboy, it starts to shift it's shape, as it jumps over the cowboy missing him as it turns into a wheelchair.

Just as the cowboy realizes it is now gone, and he is about to fall on his rear end, the wheelchair scopes him into it.

In that moment the cowboy looks shocked, and understands... HELP came.

HELP as it turns out replaced two legs that now can not function as before. So HELP is the form and shape of a wheelchair.

Our hero cowboy realizes he now can HELP himself and rolls out of the scene.

The title of the movie interacts with the animation to end up going from:

It Can't Happen To Me

To it saying:

It Can Happen

The idea is this sort of thing can happen to any one at anytime. In the strangest and or oddest of ways.

How many people do you hear about being jumped over by a horse?

How many ways can we people become injured? Countless ways.

A fall out of bed.

Sometimes we go to sleep fine we think, and wake up to find something wrong with what we have come to expect as normal for ourselves...

You might be in the car with a friend driving, and next thing KAPOW! Your next memory is a bright room, and Dr's all around you. Your friend was killed, or may be laying next to you in as bad shape or worse...

You may think that being YOUNG makes you injury proof...

I was 25 years old when I first became PARTIALLY disabled.

I was 38 when I became FULLY disabled.

It can happen to you, and it can happen more than once.

My goal is to get your attention, and get you wanting more information I am willing to share freely to you.

I want YOU BEFORE you join my club - the club of over 100 million people world wide and growing every second of every day.

No one ever signs up to become a member of our club. No one wants more people to join. Actually it is one of the ONLY clubs where not being a member is the biggest wish.

I have a ton of BORING information that will be less BORING in my little animations I will create.

Without a production team, actors, or other needless and expected means to share this information...

I will use my own way. Animation, my art, and music, and this area for the TEXT version of the animation.

You will see that a 57 second video equals many, many words.

Now imagine what a series of about one minute videos can share.

I can imagine it, and I hope to now be able to share what I faced as I took on the US Medical Health Care System.

What I have had to go through to get to the point I am at today on YouTube.

To share what it is YOU need to know BEFORE you ever become a person with disabilities.

Because once your a member it is a rather big un-friendly world you face all in an instant.

Or, it can be the same world you always knew before, just you learn to adapt your life to continue living in it.
