A historical introduction to Sir Isaac Pocock's highly popular melo-drama of the Miller and His Men. Irreverently presented, with new scenery, dresses, and decorations. Produced and researched by Mark Tovey, directed by Joe Lella, with musical direction by Marque Smith. This muscial entertainment was last put before the London public in 1842, by the officers of the London Garrison. London's first theatre, the Theatre Royal, as re-created in the Miller Barn at Fanshawe Pioneer Village and embellished with songs by Gilbert & Sullivan, and with traditional Canadian melodies.
