President Jimmy Carter - Statement on Iran Rescue Mission

This is exactly what the present President would have done. President Obama is weaker than this weak president. President Obama is an excellent politician but a weak President.

Carter may have authorized the rescue attempt.

However, the Military is the one to be blamed for the deaths of our valiant soldiers.

They were the ones that told Carter they could do it so he went off of what he was told.

It was not Carter's fault that they did not communicate and flew thru the sandstorm. it was not his fault there was a mechanical failure.

It is not his fault the military did not make continegency plans for adverse weather that they should have foressen.

Loser-president!

Equipment failure? Aircraft collisions? Yet trained for intensively. Who votes for these yankee muppets.

Thank you Jimmy Carter for removing the Shah of Iran and replacing him with the Islamic republic of Iran. You are responsible for 100s of 1000s of deaths which occurred during the Iran-Iraq war and all the killings caused by your government of choice for Iran which still continues to this day. It makes many of us sick that you received the Nobel peace prize. You are a mass murderer and the worst and weakest president our country ever had.

Reagan restored this county's economic and military standing that fell apart during Cater. Cater in 1980 won fewer Electoral Votes than Goldwater did in 1964. I have no problem with Iran/Contra. Give weapons to Iran and let Iran and Iraq fight. Funding for the Contras brought free elections to Central America

Your statement makes no sense at all. The weapons were used against Americans soon after and still are. The weapons were not given to Iran but Iraq. Carter is the reason why Iran is in such bad shape and why Iran poses a threat to the US by nuclear means. Carter's intentions were only to make money off creating a war which is basically what you stated and is true and always will be when the military industry has so much to offer the president in return of creating business.

Which weapons? Iraqi weapons in the 1991 war? Those were mostly French and Soviet. What the US gave Iran during Iran contra were spare parts for their old American weapons from the 1970s. Not new weapons. Yes, Carter gave us Iran today which is why he is the US worst President.
