A short record of one of the last great steam mill engines used to drive the cotton textile mills of Lancashire. Althoughthe images are a little underexposed, it still offers an important record of a bygone age.

  • This machine was designed by my Grandfather, Henry Rishton, and named "Alice" after my mother. Thank you for posting.
