  • @BogdanP28 definately..

  • James Murphy is a very underrated musician

  • Absolutely, fantastic ! This is sweet and skin-deep. James Murphy has all ways been him self. I enjoyed all his effort. He helped shape many Metal Bands.

Bands are cool to be in at times. But it is harder then it looks. Personality's clash and many bands just suck and explode. Drugs and stupid people. Ego is the Most evil force in the band. On the other side, it's nice to be you self. Follow your own pathway. Jimi Hendrix, needed no band. He was just bad ass.

  • @i8numbers I hate to agree with you. While there is a million and one great guitarists that end up solo, there is less bassists than 5 year olds aspiring to be bankers, that could end up joining the next original metal band.

IMO, James Murphy solo was alright, but we would have all preferred if he was in a band.

  • I loved James in Testament, but his solo stuff sounds like everyone else's stuff and good guitarists are a dime a dozen. I am not being bias, either. I happen to be a guitarist and not nearly as good as them. But, there is a rather impressive list of "good guitarists" and almost all their solo albums sound the same.

  • Kick ass musician.

  • this always makes me sad! its a great music thanks to james.

  • yeah I realized that later but thanks for taking the time to correct me

  • sometimes the sweet subtle things are much harder than shred because of tempo and arrangement, when something requires more depth and precision and less all out it requires more accuracy and is harder to reproduce live and james does it well, super guitar player thanks for listing.

  • Actually, that song is Race With Devil On Spanish Highway; it's on the same album though
