Amazing how Allah (swt) described them in the Quranic Verse you put,, so true they are but cowards who can't fight except when hiding behind their shields.. we see this everyday in every war against muslims ,, but Allah is Greater than all , may Alalh give victory to our Mujahideen,, the real men!

That verse could also apply to any midevil castle or fortification including islamic ones.
