It is actually the 1st AD or the Line Producer that does the breakdown of a script. The scripty breakdown is a little different and is usally based on the breakdows done by the AD. The scripty breakdown is a timeing and story day version. What is be talked about here is by the AD. the Director works with the AD to make sure that he can make the days (number of shots, scenes per shooting day). This is the backbone of filming "on time and on schedule". That keeps you on budget.

another good tip is to break your script pages into 8ths. This will help when plotting out how long a shooting day will be. Remember that your production AND your script(s) have timelines. It will help to maintain continuity also.

@warriorAA tip 4u: send bob 2 ur friends u talk on their channels instead cause I like the idea of it, bt most ppl will spam it unless it has something 2 do w/ the video js.
