I never thought there would even be a museum like this, but apparently, you can check out all the greatest and most effective ways to TORTURE people at this museum. The video's just the first floor ... some of this stuff even made me wince.

It is just hard difficult to imagine that people actually experienced that degree of physical pain...Seeing pictures and old relics of these things is nothing when you try to imagine that at one time some poor soul was actually locked in these contraptions going threw pain that is incomprehensible....

@UnitedKorean all of those things are true but at the time they were religion played a big part of it. You see in England along with other places roman catholicism was the law no offence. If you do research the subject matter you will also realise that religion is everywhere in history.

If you committed treason, you were tortured.

If you were caught as prisoners of war, you were tortured.

If you committed crime, you were tortured.

If you practiced witchcraft, you were tortured.

It was common.
