So, after having drawn the drawing on the paper, I scan it to my computer via Adobe Illustrator and then I create the lines with that program!

  • The liquid ink tool in corel painter is also a really awesome inking tool - its feel is great, although will lack the accuracy of pen tool I suppose, but if you ever want more natural feel and look for inking in some more stylized free hand look - I suggest you try that.

  • @Bidon45 Yes, I prefer the inking by hand:)

  • @eliaschatzoudis well youre using adobe here lol, thats not by hand.

  • @Bidon45 Ι know my friend but this 2 years old video.

  • I know I need to add illustrator to my arsenal (kind of a cheesy word). That's where this case of beer, my wacom tablet and YOUTUBE comes in! Thanks for the vid.

  • @Davj90 Illustrators pen tool is more advanced, and more importantly - line art made in illustrator (and in fact all things made in illustrator) is rendered as a mathematical object (AKA "vector" shapes) which means that it can be resized to ANY size without losing any detail or becoming pixelated. Why is that useful you ask? POSTERS! lol .. No but really, its a nice option to have.

  • @Davj90 yes it does, but illustrator is way better for line art, when people say "they the same" it's not true, I used to use photoshop only, then one day I tried Illustrator, will never use the pen tool in photoshop ever again now, I use photoshop only for colouring.

  • @Davj90 I use Illustrator because I control better the pentool. is not the same with photoshop. Is a little bit different
