Installing an original harness in a 72 Chevelle convertible along with putting factory A/C and SS dash. Just came in 1975 Cosworth Vega #1970 along with a 1977 Monza Spyder V8 Az car.

  • I am sure that someone is going to Clone a Cosworth, Duh!

  • Your Cosworth is not #1970 nor is that the engine number. That's no guarantee you have a matching engine. The sticker on the engine you pointed out is the number for the fuel injection system. The EFI parts were made as a matched set so your ECU, intake plenum and all your sensors will have that number on them. The Cosworth sequence number is on your dash plaque. And those are not the original wheels as you say. Those look like silver painted steel rims. The original wheels are gold alloys

  • @11jt2007 Thanks for pointing that out and since the dash plaque is "1970" and I do have the original Gold color Cosworth wheels put away along with the original Am/Fm radio and horn button. They saying goes, if it looks like a Duck and walks like a Duck, it must be a Cosworth!
