Tom Dreesen opened for Frank Sinatra for 14 straight years in Las Vegas and for Sammy Davis Jr. for 3 years. Believe it or not, he was one half of the very first black and white comedy team in America, with Tim Reid (who later played DJ Venus Flytrap on "WKRP in Cincinnati". Saw him seriously discuss the racism he and Tim endured on the comedy circuit in the 60's and 70's. He lives with the left ear damage he took from a race-motivated beating after a performance. Super-generous gentleman.
