Today I take a look at the Corsair Force GS Solid State Drive.
I'm even lucky enough to test them in RAID.
This is my first ever SSD review so I know there will be room to improve, please give constructive feedback.

Hello, I need an info. Creating a RAID0 configuration with 2 SSD like yours is useful only in terms of benchmarking or it's something you'll notice even in "normal life"? An SSD is not enough fast by itself? The Trim function is available also in a RAID config? If not... don't you think it's a too much important feature to renounce to if, to the previous question, you have answered "benchmark only"? Thanks for your answers and excuse my poor english.

I don't really understand the question. In my opinion, for most users, it's probably best to have a single SSD. But I'd rather have 2x 240s then 1x 480. But that's just me. There's obvious pros and cons to both configs so it's up to you to decide what's best for you.

How comes Corsair Force GS is ranked the second fastest SSD at this moment according to harddrivebenchmark, net then? Corsair Force GS - 3,982 points. And OCZ-Vertex 4 only got 3,249. Quite a big difference there. And yes this is a legit non-biased site which rely on nothing but a series of benchmark tests they perform on each SSD.

I currently have
2 x 128GB SSDs in RAID0
4 x 4TB HDDs in RAID10
I'm thinking of disabling the RAID0 array and using one of the SSDs as a cache disk for the RAID10 array. Most of my games are installed in the RAID10 array too. What do you think? Should I change it?

She's lucky she is half good looking, because her tone and persona is bland.
