A comparison of the handing of the American Judiciary system, including the United States Supreme Court, of V. Richardson vs NYS Departments of Corrections and Civil Service and Ricci vs DeStefano. Richardson a black female case was dismissed by district court after a summary judgment order was granted to Eliot Spitzer's staff of the NYS Attorney General's Office. Richardson filed her case to the United States Supreme Court and the Court refused to review case although the case would have been reversed and remanded back to the lower courts by a 9 -0 vote.

  • Im not familiar with your case but the Ricci case was clear cut, the city didnt like the results of the exam. If more blacks had won promotion, case wouldnt have gone ahead, everyone studied the same material, there was no "secret" documents given to the new haven 20. Its simple, people do a test, whoever comes out on top gets the promotion, job, etc. Thats how you have a colorblind society.
