Octavarium - V. Razor's Edge by Dream Theater (Guitar cover)

This is the fifth and final movement of the 24-minute progressive metal epic Octavarium by Dream Theater. Originally I just learned the solo, but the whole movement is kinda short, so I figured I'd also learn the other 1:37 seconds that precede it, which I manage to fuck up just a bit cause I was thinking about the solo, I think.

Anyway, this is one of Petrucci's most epic and melodic solos and also pretty fun to play. I'm sorry my face was covered more in this one (I made more funny faces in my other takes, lol), it's just that after several takes I wanted to concentrate more on making less mistakes. I did hold the last note Petrucci-style, though. XD

I think windows moviemaker fucks up the sound... I don't know, this sounded okay (just talking about the sound now), but I think it might have affected your sound. Made one of my covers totally worthless so I removed it. It added like overdrive treble... Nvm nice emotional guitarplaying... lol. And hat off for your tags!
