@jdsjkaglfkj right. 7 years after the third game. the timespan between games 1-3 is roughly two years. so the timespan between the first game and the fourth is 9 years. A good example of this is looking at Phoenix's age. In the first game, he says he's 24. in the third game, he's 33. 33-24=9. I'm not mistaken at all. so.... TAKE THAT!

@HiryuIIIV this game takes place nine years after the first one, so if he did get taller, it'd be from all the walking he does. And yes, that is Ema from Act 5 of the first game, she replaces gumshoe as the detective on scene (and does a better job of maintaining her salary)
