I think you totally missed the point of this video. Your crappy description makes it sound like their trying to say "makeup is good, wear it, wear it!" when really they're trying to say "what society leads us to believe is beautiful, is impossible to achieve." The girl got plastered with makeup, yet she still wasn't good enough for the billboard without photoshop. Now do you understand?

I'm not against photoshop as long as people know it is used.

The artist should not fear any censorship in achieving their vision, and their vision here is to create a beautiful face. The problem is the context, it lies by deceit that any such woman who looked like that has ever existed.

I doubt Mona Lisa looked EXACTLY the way Michaelangelo painted her, but we always consider that a painting diverges from reality, not so much a photograph.

The reality is photographs and paintings are equal.
