This guy is a great instrumentist.
Anyway, why great technicians don't get over making boring/cheesy stuff that has been made over and over since the 70's (Jazz-Fusion etc...)?
Virtuoso licks are not sufficient/necessary to create music: this guy is not an artist, he's an artisan.
