in bristol in march george galloway called persian gulf a(arabian gulf)wch is not.

he is the one that sed many times that takeing palestine name of the map is rong so why did he called persian gulf a arabian gulf.

i am galloway supporter but by saying that he made me think and also sad.

You know what, until your comment prompted me to do a bit of googling, I didn't realise that the Red Sea used to be known as the Arabian Gulf. You learn something new every day!

what are you talking about what red sea,i sed in george galloway speech in march 2008 in bristol when he sed: when i visited bahrain, doha,abu dhabi,arab emirates wich are all in persian gulf but americans and western power trying so heard to chang the name of persian gulf.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. What I found when I was googling was that the Persian Gulf (between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran) is known (wrongly) as the Arabian Gulf by a few people, but that the Arabian Gulf is actually the ancient name for the Red Sea (between the Arabian Peninsula and Africa).

George Galloway, one of the few politicians in Britain who speaks the truth. If only there were more like him. Maybe if Galloway were Prime Minister, Britain wouldn't be in the Middle East right now fight a war based on a lie.

And, even though I'm not a Muslim, I totally agree with what Mirpuria said. Tony Blair and now Gordon Brown don't give a damn about the Muslims here in Britain (Brown's 42-Day Terror Detention Bill just proves that).
