There is some contradiction here - in Mahabharat there is no mention of Duryodhan being made crown prince after the alleged death of Pandavs at Varnavat

@Mrbrussel1 That's true. According 2 some scriptures, Ghandari was once married 2 a goat. After her marriage 2 the king, they sacrificed the goat. Once Dhridrashtra found out, out of anger he put Ghandari's family in prison & only gave them a handful of rice 2 eat. However, for revenge, Ghandari's father gave all the food 2 the youngest and that was Shakuni. It is said that Ghandari's father twisted Shakuni's foot & that is why he limps & to remind him of the revenge. How true is that not sure.
