the government decided to come along and force banks to lend money to people with bad credit, these people can't pay back the fortunes they owe, then the bank is who gets the shaft because they no longer have money to give to those who come to withdraw money. much less, run their own business. this bad situation was created by bleeding hearts, and will be made worse by bleeding hearts. BE RESPONSIBLE SO YOU DON'T END UP CAUGHT BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. money does NOT grow on trees.

It's not the inability to make payments that makes people suicidal, it's the pain of discovering how much evil is behind what's ushered them (and so many others) into these situations, and the frustration of not being able to combat the enemies face to face. Things become worse when the courts fail to act, and when friends and relatives believe they're not affected, and refuse to listen or help.
This nation must stop electing elitists, lawyers, and rock stars as its representatives.

I understand the parallel that you are trying to convey here. I can also see how it becomes overwhelming to some people whom have worked their whole life only to find that due to the bad economy, job loss, or whatever now feel totally helpless. I bought my home in 1983, never missed or even had 1 late payment. My credit scores are over 775, yet due to job loss I have spent over 2 years trying to get WELLS FARGO to do a modification with zero results. It just breaks your spirit.SAD!

@Olgalevin1984 Sorry about your parents. These HAMP and HARP modifications that were suppose to help homeowners are a complete failure. I really thought that being an excellent customer for over 30 yrs. would make a difference. NO CHANCE!!
