@bflatmedia yes the VP can INFLUENCE change but can not MAKE it. The way im saying it only a vote is power, Im not denying that the VP can influence change, the VP could convince senate to vote a certain way, Im just saying when it comes down to it the VP cant MAKE anything happen.

@bokunobaka You're right, BUT the Vice President IS the president of the Senate. I'll quote the Constitution again for anyone that missed it.."The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided."

@soultaker76 not at all. if the senate isn't tied they can basically tell the VP to get lost. unless there is a tie the VP has no power in the senate.
