The slow-motion videos clearly show Neill's elbow contact and his left hand grabbing Grosso's foot. That's a penalty!
Australia has to learn how to win with grace and lose with dignity. In 2006 they did neither.

It was close.
Australia was getting stronger as the game went on. In extra time Australia had only used 1 sub in the 84th minute, italy used all of theirs. With one man down it would have been survival of the fittest. I think Australia would have beaten us.
