http://www.AmazingAerialPhotos.com - Reposted film credit slicker0492 - National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Reno, Nevada. The pilot was flying a WW2 P-51 Mustang. The Reno Air Races, which began in the mid-1960s, feature planes facing off in multi-lap races at an airfield north of Reno. May we only hope and pray there weren't many casualties.

Photographic wise that is a peice of history of what happen to those people that died, so All you GOD mongers should relax. So sad though. I hope none of the dead were children.

@beemarie8 - with that way of thinking maybe we should do away with motorcycles, cars, 4-wheelers, football, fireworks, and list can go on and on. This was a tragic accident but if we do away with everything that poses a danger what would be left. This will be in my prayers, but we can't do away with everything that has a possibility of injuring or killing somebody.

@supersport019 - With any challenging sport there is always a risk, it's that challenge that brings out the best in us all. It may be tragic and our prayers go out to those who lost their lives. But remember that not only are you responsible for your life, but doing the best at that moment puts you in the best place for the next. You may now be standing at the pearly gates however if you died for what you loved to do than what more can you do when your spirit is ever lasting.
