The commentators are annoying. If only they had watched the competitions before this one, they couldn't have come out that "lack of skills and endurance" theory about Dan. She was having bradycardia and she felt she couldn't breath at that competition. Please, do some background research before you comment on anything!

Dan was suffering from an "irregular heart-beat".

Dan (the woman) was probably suffering with the flu (and not injury); she had the jacket on until the very last moment. Apparently she went to the hospital right afterword. They will omit the Asian games (the two other Chinese pairs will go); but go alone to the University games (or something like that) instead in a ladder part of January.

Obviously Dan (woman) was suffering badly, probably with the flu -- it was reported she went to the hospital immediately afterword. Their next engagment was essentially cancelled so they will go onto the University competition, which the other two Chinese pairs to the the Asian games.
