if seen alot of videos of people trying to lay their horse down and in many iv seen them tie one leg up and pretty much FORCE there horses to the ground i LOVE your method i think its very humane ! it works WITH the horse not AGAINST them :) great job

How does he know to lift his leg when the stick touches it?!?!?!

When I started to teach him this, I tapped on his leg until he lifted it, even for a split second. Once he figured this out, I tapped until he learned to lift it and hold it up. Once he got good with that, I then added backward pressure with the halter until he learned what I wanted. Didn't take very long!
