This guys is an idiot. Why are we focused more on Iraq than Afghanistan? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11; we should have never invaded them in the first place. How did our war on terror evolve into a mission to liberate an entire nation of people? And since when has it become our duty to serve as the world's liberator? If it is our duty, then why don't we make it our mission to help all those in need?

Many so called "Insurgants" are families that are simply taking revenge for their children, Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents being killed by us. Now tell me, who would try to capitalize on "Victories" like that? And the common media is backed by Israel and others who have Huge war interests. Viacom owns CBS, GE is one of the top 10 Defense Contractors and owns NBC. Disney owns ABC. Get your facts straight before you post utter BS that libs rule this country through misinformation.

Some History - Vietnam was what the liberal left considered a great lib-dem victory against the government at that time; the real victory for the left was that they figured out how to use the media to cause hysteria and an uprising for a purpose.
Those who were teens back then are in the government now. The only thing they know of war is surrender and they are trying to do the same thing now, it's like memory lane to them.
PS - Vietnam witdrawl resulted in catastrophic genocide.

Oddly the common media has been devoid of the arrests and capture of so many "insurgents" you said there was 125 captured, that's not a small number, yet it's un-newsworthy in the common media. Why?
