Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill says Phil Dowd should have sent Vidic off for his foul on Agbonlahor. But the claret and blue boss vows "We'll be back".
For Vidic to be sent off there must be the four (4) D's.
1. Last Defender
2. Distance to the Goal
3. Attackers distance to the ball
4. Direction to the Goal.
The first three are there, but watch the video, Agbonlahor changes direction to the outside before Vidic takes him down. Clearly Agbonlahor was not going directly to the goal at that moment. Therefore no send off. But I agree, clearly a "tactical" foul and Vidic should have been booked for a caution.
Shut up you thunderbird. What about Colling foul, also last man? Collings foul was blatantly deliberately, he flicks out his leg to catch Own. Boo bloody hoo Villa fans get over it really!!!
fk off i was there i saw every1 knows it should of been red.
