@lilstripaRabbit20884 Hey jackass, remember this, this is a COLLEGE band with mostly non-music majors in the middle of Kansas. 2 problems with your little desire. First. NAME one major college marching band that does jazz running (other than in their pre-game) NONE. The best band in the US, the Ohio State marching band doesn't even do that. 2. You try getting up at 2am to get to this game and play a half-time show with Jazz running, That's what they did

@lilstripaRabbit20884 That would be cool, but this band performs a new halftime show almost every game. And thats why they don't do shows that require jazz running.

it's not about who difficult the songs are you play, its about playing them the best they can, the k-state band does a lot of work spend a lot of hours practicing to get the music and marching to be at its absolute best, I know I am a member of the marching band

@mnmacdonald Vista High Regimental Band and Pageantry Corps. Nothing special just a high school marching band and I wanted to be a part of K-States, but I'm reconsidering. Our marching tech was on the Blue Devils Corp. Have you heard of the Blue Devils? They are so amazing!!!

@mnmacdonald Jazz running is difficult, but so is marching. Marching wasn't made easy. I don't think I ever did a show where I wasn't jazz running. Well, except for the two shows that I did in Kansas. Other than that jazz running and I became good pals. But we do harder shows than what k-state does. I wish our shows were on youtube but ours shows cost too much money to infringe on the copyrights. :(

...they don't move very much. any band can make formations slowly like that. I'd like to see some jazz running.
