GameNexus Mame Review Mortal Kombat (Y-Unit 1992)

Today I bring you a mame review for Mortal Kombat on Midway's Y-Unit released in 1992. This game was requested by littlevince104. The version I play here is Rev 5.0 which was released in 1993 and is run on the T-Unit hardware that MK2 uses. Enjoy.

While MK & MKII are my favorite MK games, I still liked Killer Instenct more. MK's just more popular cause of the blood/fatalaties while KI had a better combo/fighting system.

Killer Instinct is a great game, I personally wish they would make a KI3 on current systems, rumor has it KI might be comming to xbox live arcade and that might include multiplayer which would be cool.

im pretty sure that genesis, snes, pc, gameboy and gamegear all came out at the same time, on mortal monday...the name given to the release date of mk to the home consoles

The Genesis, Snes and Game Gear versions came out on "Mortal Monday" in the usa. The pc version didnt get released until atleast half a year later.

killer instinct owns. i love mortal kombat but killer instinct is one badass game too
