  • @tman1223334444 after 0-0 black does not have to take the e4 pawn as he is a pawn up, he can just play a developing move and give back the pawn with a comfortable game. Therefore theory suggests e5 as a dynamic way to regain the pawn for white with initiative. Thanks for watching!

  • Why does white have to play Qe2 after ng4?? Just 0-0 seems better as nxe5 nxe5 nxe5 Re1 wins a piece (d6 f4).

  • @PabloDPena indeed that is an alternative, but after 0-0, d6 by black forces exd6 and after Qxd6 i'm not sure how white can regain his pawn..

  • @PabloDPena hey thanks for watching- yes that is an alternative, but I think the position after 0-0 d6 exd6 qxd6 are a bit harder to play as it is not clear how white can regain the d6 pawn.

  • what would you do if at 3:07 they move pawn d6 instead of be7

  • @evilsidd I would suggest keeping it simple by Bxc6 bxc6 Qxd4, and white has regained the pawn with nice presence in the center and black is two moves off castling, in addition black has the doubled pawns.

    hope you enjoyed the vids!

  • @TheMrKreee Because there is no 'rock' in the game of chess. jkjk i know you meant rook i jsut thought it was funny

  • after Nf6 can't white play 5 0-0 then ...Nxe4 6. Re1 (pinning the knight to the king) and if ...d5 is played then 7 Bxd5 Qxd5 8 Nc3 which will regain the bishop?

  • why not castling after Ng4, 0:45 so that the rock can go to e1?

  • @YangsterNo9 Yes but his King is still in the center. gambit lines are not usually obsessed with getting the pawn back after 0-0 d6 what about Re1! (nxe5 loses a piece to f4) so dxe5 h3 nf6 nxe5 nxe5 rxe5+ be7 Qe2 and black is under a lot of pressure. It's not clear how he will castle and soon white's a rook makes it to the e file. This is plenty of play for the pawn.

  • Awesome work¡¡ thanks a lot for your hints, Greetings from San Antonio, Chile
