I play Super Mario Kart's second cup with a handicap. By pressing Y+A on the character select screen I shrink my racer, rendering myself slower and easily squashed by my enemies.
I complete this challenge with Donkey Kong Jr. I also refrain from using Mushrooms or other time-shaving items.
Choco Island 1: 0'57''66. Some tighter turns and more precise path-taking improved my average score. Last video I would've been happy with 58''; now I score better despite an ugly last lap.
Ghost Valley 2: 0'57''00. I can't yet hop the shortcut consistently but I do it on the first lap just to show it can be done. The timing is tighter than it looks. Once I can do it regularly I could get this score down to 54'' or better.
Donut Plains 2: 1'29''70. Eh. I'd like to see this score fall below 1'28''.
Bowser Castle 2: 1'44''64. I wonder if I could save time by hitting the zipper, even though it's out of the way. Tight turns are difficult to make because of all the walls and Thwomps.
Mario Circuit 3: 1'29''68. The biggest improvement in this video. Compared to last time I raced confidently and without errors, though there's certainly room to save even more time.
Overall: 6'38''68. A happy score.
