This song was amazing. When I was little I would sit in front of my mirror and try to sing it just like her.

You say that and yet you kept talking about the music of the other ones and lyrics of this one. If you're going to make comparisons then at least make a leveled comparison. I talk about the lyrics of both. I also didn't say this was mature. I said it was "more" mature. But surely whining about how you can't live without someone you love is more mature than being "addicted to you" or a "slave" in a purely sexual way, now isn't it? ;)

@MissArielMarie Quoted from previous comment, "There is more to songs than just lyrics. Sounds, messages, and even the music video all contributes to a song's maturity." (Forgive me, when I comment on YouTube, I don't usually expect my comments to be analyzed to death, as well as for not understanding what's so mature about whining about how you can't live your life without someone else.)
-
Then I'd suggest you'd be more cautious with the conotations of your words. And that you listen to the lyrics of "I'm A Slave 4 You" and "Toxic".
-
@MissArielMarie You've been very polite. I consider Britney's control over her sexuality more mature than this "I can't live without you" stuff. If general, being in control of your emotions is more mature than letting someone else dominate them.
-
It's not a rant. I've been relatively polite. I think you're a bit prone to exaggeration. This is Youtube. If you have an opinion, good, but understand that people are most likely going to reply if they disagree. If you want to be left out, my advice is not to comment initially.
-
@MissArielMarie Maturation wasn't even the point of my original comment. "Let her" was not directed at you. You can rant about the maturity (or lack thereof) of her new songs all you want, just leave me out of it. I've already stated my point.

This is one of her great songs! What happened because before she sang songs that other people can relate to and now Britney's songs are just not the best songs than her old ones like Lucky, Born to make you happy etc....
