Definately agree with Pike's Place and Alki...other spots for me would be:
Gasworks Park....wanna go to Kerry Edward Park but can't find it!!!!
Bauhaus Cafe (Capitol Hill)...quintessential Seattle cafe that has cool loft and view of Space Needle and downtown Seattle
Columbia City Bakery ..... awesome baked goods....best I have had in the city
University of Washington/U-Dist: old stomping grounds :)

good choices. I like seattle the best. Pikes is an awsome place to go because its like nothing else on the west coast. I live in la, but i want to move to seattle just because it feels like san fransico with the hills, and boston with all the markets and the bay, and its just a great city. Good presentation :)

A friend of mine who visited said that some of the hilly areas reminded her of San Fransisco with the hills. I've never been there, but let me tell you it's interesting driving a manual on them sometimes! I'd love to visit LA sometime too!
