"Men Of Harlech" Lyrics: Men of Harlech stop your dreaming Can't you see their spear points gleaming See their warrior pennants streaming To this battlefield Men of Harlech stand ye steady It cannot be ever said ye For the battle were not ready Welshmen never yield From the hills rebounding Let these war cries sounding Summon all at Cambria's call The mighty force surrounding Men of Harlech on to glory This will ever be your story Keep these burning words before ye Welshmen will not yield

These troops were from B company, 2nd Battalion 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot. The regiment was renamed the South Wales Borderers during a military re-organisation in 1881 and was largely made up of men from the industrial towns of central, West England. Though there was a substantial minority of Welshmen in the company. There was also a small detachment of the no.5 Field Company, Royal Engineers under Lieutenant John Chard.
Condescending??? Well take it as you like but i think i merely laid out the facts. A substantial minority, a large minority. That is, not the majority but still quite a large amount. So anywhere between roughly 20 and 49% of the total.
