  • just saw lightning bolt in brighton. will be posting some of that little get together. it was off the hook

  • hey all, glad you like the vid. Nearly got clobbered by a stage dive in the process but well worth it. I've got a bit of OM, LIGHTNING BOLT AND PISSED JEANS from this night. just snippets really. camera ran out of memory. ignore haythorpe. he's a green bay packers fan so the joke is on him. and he wears paisley shirts open at the chest.

  • heh. is bob weston saying "fire...bad" instead of singing?

  • wicked gig, I was ill but it was fantastic, not too keen on Om but i rate the Wooden Shjips, Les Savy Fav made an impression in my mind and Shellac were as usual too good and too shortlived on stage, fantastic gig, we got there late so we missed lightening bolt and Pissed Jeans, Awesome night!

  • donkeyplopp, have you got any more videos of this gig?

  • Shellac were fantastic. Bob Weston kept up the zombie (listen to his vocals on this clip)act right through the set including grunting during the Q and A bit although no-one asked any questions.

Thanks for the great video donkeyplopp

  • oh my, mr haythorpe, you obviously must know who shellac are, otherwise you wouldnt have searched for it.I was at the gig and can honestly say they were awesome as always.Think you`re tongue is firmly in your cheek, who other than shellac fans use the word `metaphore` in this day and age!

  • What a show! best gig i`ve been to for ages. Mr albini must have been sweating his bollocks off in that get up! Great quaslity too, please post some more if you`ve got it

  • Frankly i am shocked and disgusted that this dirge can be called music, in my day music had a tune, something you could whistle or hum.

This sickening display is in my opinion a perfect metaphore for everything wrong with the world today. I will never get back the last 2 minutes 11 seconds of my life, and i will forever hold you donkeyplopp (if thats your real name) responsible. You have been warned.
