Translation:

That traveller am I,

MI viene in mente Leopardi che non inseguiva la bellezza femminile in senso lato, ma bramava la bellezza con la "B" maiuscola; era innamorato perso della BELLEZZA. e cercava la BELLEZZA mai lontanamente egualiata da nessuna donna, da Silvia ad Aspasia. Il primo verso di questo canto mi rimanda a queste considerazioni Leopardiane. Taf289

I've listened to this piece like a hundred times already and can't seem to get enough of it. How funny that after two years of discovery I still keep listening and there's not a lot of music can possibly do that to me nowadays. Precious music sung by a godlike-voiced countertenor, good gracious, what a perfect match.
