I Would Really Like A Macbook Pro. I'm A Struggling College Student Who Needs A MacBook Pro In Order To Succeed In My Studies. Not Only That But My Dell Laptop Is Dying Slow. It's Not Compatible For Me. Dell & I Do Not Mesh Well. A College Student Belongs With A MacBook In His/Her Arms.

One more thing that will hopefully make sense. I started an organization called Indiegrrl in 1998. Between 98-2005 (when I sold the company to focus on recording and touring), the organization was 5000 women strong, internationally. I did everything: I was the booking agent, the publicist, the public relations person (two very different things.), and I put together literally hundreds of shows and tours all over the world that needed publicity. @richkidbobby I have recommendations about computers (my MBP is a 17 inch, 2.8 GHz intel Core 2 duo, 4GB 1067 MHz, but I have had 4 laptops and 3 desktops) and for internships (I have been a recording artist, nominated for two Grammy awards, and I am also an engineer and producer, with contacts at both indie and major labels.) If you would like to work your way up the ladder,but just need help, I will try to help. If you have your heart set on somehow getting a free a MacBook Pro, good luck!

At some point you may need a MacBook Pro, but right now, you need a word processor. You don't need that much computer for college. I *just* finished the paperwork with my 16 year old to go to college in the fall. They are not even recommending that students have laptops, because it sucks up more time than it saves them. When I bought my MacBook Pro, I gave my MacBook to my 8 year old son. It is WAY more computer than he needs. My daughter has one, too, and it's just about right for college.
