  • Tbh there is absolutely no need for an ensemble that small it's jus ridiculous

  • Actually, I believe that small ensembles are quite nice to perform this repertoire. In fact, in the baroque time, one-on-a-part was quite common for concertos, concerti grossi, and the like. But perhaps your comment is made perfectly clear by the first word "Tbh"? I'm not familiar with that one. But I am a fan of au jus sauce! Thanks for the metaphor!

  • Why are people complaining about the size of the ensemble? If you closed your eyes and thought it sounded good, then it sounds good. Hey, if you guys want to do it your way, do whatever you want. If it's beautiful in my ears, then all the better!

  • @jermay101 HAhahahaha!! i agree!!! played this piece on baroque instruments before, but the viola player was playing with a modern viola and worst was, MODERN BOW!!! it was horrible to watch!!! he was moving at an exaggerating string crossing section of the piece..
