She was the original at what she did; though here she points out that borrowing from others is part of the creative process. In a way it's all a matter of degree. I am sorry to hear about the lawsuit, and how it went. It seems to me she deserved way more recognition for her work.

It's great to see who started the hot goth chick thing. But I must say it's a bit of a shame that she felt the need to sue Elvira. Elvira is quite different. Sure she's a show host as well, but personality-wise... so very not the same. I guess you could say Elvira is a bit...louder and more wild? And don't forget Morticia Addams, she was a hot goth chick too.

She is the ultimate elder-goth, have some respect. And damn, her poise, her articulation, her personality- she has the air of a person who has lived all of life, from the shit to the joy, and enjoyed every minute of it. I wish I could have met her, she's utterly fascinating. <3!

God, I come from seeing lots of videos of Elvira and I sadly discovered that this charming lady invented that type of character, and I never saw or know anything about her until now. She inspires me so much respect.
