@mcnickmish32 ....whatever the case, Santigold shouldve toured or something. Hope she can follow this up...but I loved her first album. Very difficult for black artists with different styles to sell (other than quasi avant-garde crooners Seal and Lenny Kravitz).
Roots, Erykah Badu and Lauren Hill have had similar difficulties....

@mcnickmish32 ... but commercially, LES wasnt nearly the song, Creator was (which had already been featured in a commercial). Whoever her management is, their awful. M.I.A. got 2 years out of one song; Paper Planes, and you wouldnt even know who Santigold is and her album is brilliant. (she even appears in Paper Planes)

The director didn't get the shots that they needed. ...And the video was not good enough for this song. ...She said she was like, we're not gonna use it. And they were like, we just spent all this money. yo i thought she was some ugly old chick but the closer to her face u get the better she looks tho its usually the opposite she cute as hell... oh and the song rocks
