Officers across Devon and Cornwall have now been trained to recognise when a laser jammer is being used. A spokesperson said "We know that these devices are being bought for the express purpose of interfering with Police speed detection equipment. Our Operators are now fully trained to detect and record any instances. This information may then be used to prosecute the offender for either obstruction or perverting the course of justice."
I've never seen them on any other vehicle. I'd say 1 in 10,000 would be extremely high. I'd say it would be fewer than 1 in 1,000,000.

I can't imagine laser jammers are very common. Perhaps 1 car per 10,000?
