Our 5 month old Sport Dog puppy Scrabble working at a Nose work / Working K9 Detection demonstration at the San Francisco SPCA. This is only Scrabble's ninth detection session ever. He is already showing a very long, and persistent "lock on odor" and is working on target odor only. Notice how he locks into an "anticipatory freeze" position as he hits odor and holds his "lock" even through the distraction of the sound and movement of the children applauding behind him until his reward "magically" appears.
i love this. hope you don't mind me stealing the 'targeting signal' :) ..... super pup btw -
