Hey I am possibly in the need of Prolotherapy. I was wondering if there are Orthopedic people everywhere willing to do this? I live in the Pensacola, FL region if that helps. Also, I was wondering if you can make a full return to an intense pivoting sport like soccer? Thanks in advance. God bless everyone.

I had prolotherapy done by Dr Hauser about 9 months ago for a cronic sholder pain. Prior to the treatment I was told by an orthopedic that sugery and 6 months of physical therapy would be required. I had 4 treatments with Dr Hauser and have NEVER felt BETTER!!
This amazing pocedure should be your FIRST step at pain relief!!!!

I was told insurance companies often don't cover it, and that they prefer you get traditional treatment (i.e. steroid injections and eventually surgical fusion). I am considering having this done in my neck for four discs. It is very painful.

In the years that Dr. Hauser has been performing Proltherapy he has treated and helped many patients with SI problems. Yes, clunking and clicking can be helped. These symptoms are typically in someone with weak or loose ligaments/tendons in the SI area. The joint is made strong by Prolotherapy starting the natural healing process and strengthening the weak ligaments and tendons. Dayglowgreendoor, and anyone else out there, we can help. Skin, I believe that when I was about 8 I had a complete breakdown (nutritional, psychological/stress etc.) Neurologically, I am suspicious of things like MSG in the food we ate, fluoride etc. Since then, I've cracked everything to try to get relief, been to Dr. Don Fraser (Canada's best ortho Dr.) and done much Prolo and adjustments with him - didn't work for me. Since then, am looking into detox, and have an infrared sauna. I have been tested on the QXCI, and it found digestive problems.

How about clunking in the SI joint when bringing the knees to 90 degrees? It doesn't hurt to do it, but my pelvis hurts most of the time or all the time.

Does prolotherapy actually tighten a loose SI joint?

Yes, just had it done here in Germany. Left SI was loose. 3 weeks in the clinic, injections every day and everything feels tightend up. Now have a 6 weeks waiting period (off sick note)and my SI joints already dont get locked anymore!!!! Sometimes I still feel pain donw my leg but thats it. Now just wait and hope that I will be able to sit again for long hours at work. The head of the clinic told me that the worst thing you can do is to get manipulated. More then 2x and you WILL get a problem!
