Saw a special on unusual animal friends on the National Geographic Channel last night and it updated this story.

After four years of friendship the crow stopped coming for his daily visits. Cassie is now 10 and lives the pampered life with the man (now 89) since his wife passed away. He said he and Cassie would stay together for the rest of their days. Very sweet.
