Flaws?!? He is good enough to be no team USA and bowl PBA events, u don't get to where he is without an awesome game.. Flaws, I think I prefer an individual style,,, 2 hander and lefty myself, his tech is slightly different from belmo, straight arm and plant, and uses his thumb.. Definately a different take on 2 handed bowling.
As a southpaw 2-hander myself, I personally don't like Cassidy's approach. It has no smooth approach to it. His stance has some flaws that can really affect his body if not gotten early. Doesn't matter if he's comfortable with it, but he should definitely get some more advice from Belmo, IMO.
Personally still not a big fan of the two-handed bowler, but I won't deny that it is a legit style. It is now being taught by USBC coaches. I have seen Belmo live, and while it looks goofy, it is pretty darn powerful!!
belmonte's method is to me, the textbook 2 hand. the balancing hand shld not stay so much on the ball............. and then wif that, ur hand which is on the ball can do all the revolutions and power. just like a power player's release.
Everyone has their own way to bowl, just like how different Osku and Belmo are on some parts, but similar in others.

the other hand is the 'thumb'. the release is one handed.

that is the biggest misconception about the 2 handers. the other hand is not used for spinning the ball more. its to provide balance
